How to Install exiv2 software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

exiv2 software package provides EXIF/IPTC metadata manipulation tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install exiv2

exiv2 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the exiv2 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep exiv2 *

You will get with exiv2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
